Marie-Therese Heublein (b. 1997) lives and works in Nuremberg.
Her work has been described as both fragmented and fluid, inhabiting the tension between these states. With a practice anchored in painting and drawing she moves beyond classical figuration and reimagines the body as an adaptable, evolving form that reflects life in a technology-driven world, suspended between physical and digital existence. Combining traditional oil painting with digital processes such as 3D scanning and digital collage, she constructs layered pictorial spaces that explore line, form, and figuration.
In 2022 she graduated with distinction and the MA in Painting from the University of the Arts London, Camberwell College of Arts following her independent artistic training and a BA in Communicationdesign (Munich, 2021).
After completing her studies, Heublein established her studio practice in Camberwell, where she initiated and organised group exhibitions with fellow artists.
Her work has since been featured in group exhibitions across London, including at DContemporary (2024), The Mall Galleries (2023), and Copeland Gallery (2022). In 2024, she presented her first solo exhibition on Bond Street in Central London before moving to Germany. She continues to exhibit in London while developing an international exhibition profile, participating in leading art fairs such as Dang Dai, Beijing (2024) and Art021, Shanghai (2024, 2025), as well as group exhibitions in Beijing's 798 Art District (2025), Yuan Art Museum (2025), and other venues across the city. In Germany, she has also exhibited in regional group exhibitions in Nuremberg (2025) and Munich (2026).
